Service NSW transforms how citizens interact with government through ground-breaking digital initiatives.
MyServiceNSW, a new ‘digital-profile’ offers customers a single trusted access-point to online government
services. By securely storing profile information, customers remove the need to re-enter details for other
government services. Initial MyServiceNSW iterations supported the one-stop access to RMS, NSW Seniors
Card and Police Portal and within seven months, over 550,000 customers signed-up to MyServiceNSW.
Together with new online transactions, MyServiceNSW frees-up over 1.5 million counter transactions
annually. Service NSW launched the next MyServiceNSW iteration for all agencies via an API in August 2016.
MyServiceNSW already delivers ‘Digital by Design’ and ‘Security and Privacy by Design’ foundations.
The focus of the next iteration is ‘Identity as a Service’.
